About YouthGrow Garden Centre

”A retail outlet with a wide range of quality plants including herbs, veggies, natives, and trees. Proceeds are used to train young people in life skills and work skills. YouthGrow Garden Centre - a retail shop offering for sale a comprehensive range of plants including natives, shrubs, trees, bedding and vegetable plants, herbs and a range of bagged potting mixes, composts and fertilizers. YouthGrow Horticulture and Youth Development Course - Young people between 16 - 24 can enrol in our Introduction to Horticulture NZQA Levels 1 and 2 course. This is designed for people needing a step up into employment and includes life skills and work skills training. YouthGrow Wholesale Nursery - propagation of a wide variety of plants, including those sold in the Garden Centre, to landscapers, schools and other external customers. YouthGrow at local markets - YouthGrow is a foundation member of the Otago Farmers Market selling a wide selection of herb and vegetable plants plus a changing selection of other plants from our retail store. Our stall is located on the platform at the Dunedin Railway Station. We can also be found at some other markets in and around Dunedin. Read more
